This was a renovation of an existing double commercial units in the heart of midtown Manhattan, a block away from the J.P. Morgan and Chase tower. Beyond Building Inc. was asked to perform a gut renovation to combine the units to create a home for 420 Madison, an upscale Japanese beauty salon with world-class nail technicians and stylists trained in Japan.

Beyond Building Inc. worked with the owner on the intricacies of the design. Wedesigned and created custom tables in the style of Kyoto housing construction, simple and elegant desks and bar table, amongst other carpentry items. Beyond Building Inc. introduced to the owners a style of thin set mortar texturing on their walls. We were able to bring the Owner’s designs to life from a napkin sketch through our effort for effective design communication.
