Beyond Building Inc. worked with Architect Richard Liu, whom has worked on world renown projects, to bring modern and playful design as befits the neighborhood. The bespoke interior speaks for itself from these images, courtesy of Richard Liu Architects, no more words needed. Timeline: 3 Months Client was very satisfied and as a result fostered an ongoing business relationship. Beyond Building Inc. worked together with the Architect on the intricacies of his design. Without a need for a plan or drawing, Beyond Building Inc. Beyond Building Inc.re able to communicate to create this beautiful final product. This was a gut renovation of an existing restaurant space in BoBeyond Building Inc.ry – Noho. The minds behind The Boil brought an fusion of Mexican and Vietnamese cuisine to this hip spot. Beyond Building Inc. worked with Interior Designer Karen Lore of Karen Lore Inc. while also managing some design changes and ideas brought on by the Owner themselves in a moment’s notice. Beyond Building Inc. fostered communication to ensure both sides are understanding before the work is done so that all stakeholders can accurately understand the outcomes. Beyond Building Inc. even inputted our own design and fabrication of some of the furniture’s themselves. From the double banquet seaters to the sauce cabinet to cutting the entire bar table down by 8 inches, Beyond Building Inc. perform lots of specialty carpentry in this project. Beyond Building Inc. was asked to be on the project as the designer as well as the constructor. With our staff experiences previously in Architecture and Interior Design, Beyond Building Inc. put together a set of technical drawings with renderings that helped one stakeholder to attract the other. We then executed the project based on those drawings. Step by step, Beyond Building Inc. updated the drawings as we encountered issues and we were able to have quick turn around updates on the design. The project was in construction phase. Since then, the project has been put on hold due to the collaborating restauranter’s own internal restructuring. The unit previously experienced some demolition works. Beyond Building Inc. was asked to restore the unit to its original build-out, a task that required lots of forensics from images and salvage materials. This project’s unique challenge was in restoration with custom fabrication based on limited information and working within the logistical system allowed by the Beekman Residences and Beekman hotel. Through salvaged hardware, images, cabinet parts, stone parts, and even electronics parts, we were able to confirm the existing models, dimensions, paint color, systems, and construction methods, we were able to return the unit to as close to the original as possible. This unit embodied the excellence of living in the old financial district at the center of the world, thus Beyond Building Inc. went about this project as usual: to be as accommodating to the staff, quiet, clean, and professional as possible. Beyond Building Inc. worked together with the owners on the intricacies of their design. Without a need for an interior design plan or drawing, Beyond Building Inc. We were able to communicate to create this beautiful final product from adhering to the DOB plan-sketch. We crafted a simple and elegant space while maintaining some of its existing elements. This was a gut renovation of an existing barbershop in the heart of Jackson Heights, only a block away from Jackson Heights subway station, into a boutique and unique Nepalese cafe. Since then, the café has captured the heart of many and attention of the local community. Beyond Building Inc. worked with the owner on the intricacies of the design. The owner first came to us with an idea expressed in words. Beyond Building Inc. looked at the constraints set by the DOB expeditor then combined that with our careful listening of the client’s desires and provided them a vision in the form of a drawing. Beyond Building Inc. designed and created custom tables, reception tables, coffee making furniture by carefully working with our client and understanding the function of each item needed to run a successful café. We adhered to local laws relating to dimension in our design while maximizing the functionality without losing sight of the aesthetic. Then we executed the design in construction. Working as an all-in-one package Beyond Building Inc. was able to help our client quickly finish the project, and ahead of schedule. This way, the client was able to capitalize on the rent deals made with the landlord as Beyond Building Inc. understand business owners must prioritize schedules as part of their business plan.
